The Sinclair Method

At Kaiser Consulting, we offer a flexible, evidence-based approach to reducing or eliminating alcohol use—and that includes The Sinclair Method (TSM). This method uses a targeted medication strategy to help you reduce cravings and rewire your brain’s response to alcohol, without requiring abstinence right away.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

What Is the Sinclair Method?

The Sinclair Method is a medically supervised treatment that involves taking a non-addictive medication called naltrexone before drinking. This medication blocks the brain’s endorphin response to alcohol, gradually weakening the association between drinking and pleasure. Over time, many people find that their cravings naturally decrease, leading to reduced drinking or complete abstinence—without white-knuckling, guilt, or shame.

How it Works with Our Program?

If you’re a good fit for TSM, your healthcare provider is able to prescribe naltrexone if you wish. From there, we’ll integrate the Sinclair Method into your personalized treatment plan. You’ll continue receiving one-on-one coaching, accountability, and practical tools—whether your goal is moderation or abstinence.

Our role is to support you at every step, helping you build healthier habits and shift your relationship with alcohol in a way that feels sustainable and empowering.
